Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
Is there any point in messing with the electrical generators?
1 of 4: Turning them off or damaging them can be useful in your goal of stealth, since it'll turn out some nearby lights.
2 of 4: Also, nearby guards will often notice that the lights went out and come to investigate, giving you the chance to hide around a corner and hit them or grab them when they come by.
3 of 4: For example, if you turn off the generator in the long, narrow barrel-stacked room near the cavern, the guard who's been firing off his gun in a nearby room will sooner or later notice (even though his room's lights aren't affected).
4 of 4: Right after turning the generator off, run down the nearby stairs and past the large doorway, then wait in the shadows for the guy to go past you. Sneak along behind him until he stops at the bottom of the stairs, then grab him!
