Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
What if I go down to the lower floor instead?
of 8: NOTE: If you want more time down there before the two execs come down and start talking, there is a way to arrange that, though this strategy doesn't depend on you doing this.
of 8: As soon as you get through the locked door, crouch-run past the stairs and into the main room.
of 8: Quickly mantle over the right end of the railing that's near the big "Level 1" sign, then move stealthily all the way to the other end of the behind-the-rail area.
of 8: Wait for the execs to arrive and for the one who's carrying the laptop to put it down. (This may take awhile if they heard you tromping across the floor.)
of 8: Then quickly activate your EEV zoom and scan the laptop so you can hack into it. (Note that it won't work while you're crouched -- you'll have to stand up straight.)
of 8: You should have plenty of time to hack into the laptop and get the server access algorithm. You can also get a door code, but it's the same one the guy in the lounge gives you.
of 8: When you're done, wait for the two execs to walk off, then sneak back to where you mantled over the railing and mantle over it again and make your way out of here.
of 8: NOTE: The two execs will slowly make their way to the small lower-floor lounge via the Operations Room. If you knocked out the guys in either of those rooms earlier and didn't hide the bodies well, you might want to quickly go do that.
