Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
How can I get into R&D? There's a retinal scanner and then laser beams!
of 9: Hacking the retinal scanner shouldn't be too tough.
of 9: As for the laser beams, there's no way you're getting through them undetected.
of 9: Unless you have some sort of detection shield. Remember the laser beam rooms in the bank job earlier?
of 9: You can get through these laser beams safely by walking through them while carrying any guard's body. You probably have a stockpile of them stashed away somewhere, so go get one.
of 9: As for where to stash the body afterwards, you could just drop it after you get past the lasers and before you go through the sliding door -- it's plenty dark there.
of 9: If you don't want to go to all that trouble, there is another way.
of 9: Enter the training gym and explore around a bit.
of 9: Sneak over to the other end of the locker room to find a crawl space near the floor.
of 9: Go through it to end up in R&D's break room. After the nearby guys talk about Prince of Persia and one of them walks off, you can sneak onward.
