Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints

What can I do in the two big missile bays?

  • 1 of 9: First, take care of the lone guard that walks around in the two control rooms near the elevator.
  • 2 of 9: It should be possible to sneak up on him as he fiddles with the computer banks in the left control room if you skip the stairs near him and climb over the railing further back. (If not, use a nonlethal projectile while still on the lower floor.)
  • 3 of 9: Then find all the neat supplies on the box stack near the entrance to the right control room. (There's also a medkit in the left control room if you need it.)
  • 4 of 9: Each control room has a door in back that leads out to the bay where the missiles are stored, but be careful when going through that door -- there's a weird camera up on the ceiling just past each door that looks like a large light bulb. As with most cameras, these can't be shot out, so use the OCP for temporary disabling.
  • 5 of 9: Each bay storage area has one guard plus one missile with the casing off of the tip.
  • 6 of 9: Either take down or avoid the guard, then find the missile with the open warhead casing and choose "bypass circuit" on it.
  • 7 of 9: NOTE: The open warhead in the bay past the left control room is attached to the forklift, and the one in the other bay is in sight of the weird bulb camera.
  • 8 of 9: Doing both of those warhead circuit bypasses will complete a bonus objective.
  • 9 of 9: That's all you can do in these areas until after you visit the command center.
