Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
How can I get to the command center?
of 8: The most obvious way is to take the elevator that's situated right in between the entrances to the two missile bay control rooms.
of 8: You'll have to hack the keypad since there's no way to know the combo.
of 8: Then you can call the elevator and ride it up. Watch out, though, since there's an alert guard in the security room at the top of the elevator who will notice your arrival.
of 8: On the way up, hide behind the box stack and/or fizzle the light bulb at the top of the elevator car. That way the guard won't see you before the elevator doors close again.
of 8: As soon as they close, reopen them and step just outside the elevator.
of 8: Wait until the guard opens the retinal scan doors across the room and goes through them, then use the OCP on the camera on the wall to the right and follow the guard before the doors close again. (Note that if you OCP the camera too soon, the guard may get interested in it. If so, sneak for the doors anyway -- you might make it.)
of 8: That's not too hard to pull off, but there is another way to get up to the command center that's much sneakier and less risky.
of 8: WARNING: Soon after the conversation in the command center is over, the guard from the security room will return to it. If you're between him and it, be prepared to either take him down or avoid him.
