Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
What do I do in the command center?
of 10: First and most importantly, listen in on the conversation between the base commander and his subordinates without interrupting it in any way. That'll fulfill your first primary objective.
of 10: NOTE: If for some reason you miss hearing the conversation or break it up too early, you can get the same info from a computer on the lower floor.
of 10: That's really all you have to do here, but if you want to fulfill one of the bonus objectives, you'll need to start taking control of the command center. Read on for hints about that.
of 10: Start with the guard in the nearby security room. He periodically goes to the command center and back, so take him down with a nonlethal projectile when he's alone in the hallway near his security room.
of 10: Then wait until there's a guard looking at stuff on the upper floor of the command center, and sneak over to him. Use Back to Wall as much as possible to help avoid detection. After you grab him, drag him all the way to the hall next to the security room to dump him.
of 10: Then it's easy to sneak up on the seated guy down on the main floor of the command center. To be thorough, dump him with the rest of the bodies.
of 10: Now the commander has no help! However, to interrogate him, you still have to be careful what you do.
of 10: The simplest way is to stand in his doorway and whistle, then sneak a short way back down the stairs. After he comes to his doorway and turns around, move up behind him and grab him.
of 10: Another way that may be easier for you is to use the OCP on his computer and then shoot out his overhead light. He won't just stop at his doorway and then turn around -- he'll walk slowly all the way across the upper floor, giving you a lot more time to sneak up on him and grab him.
of 10: Interrogate him to find out some disturbing news and then knock him out!
