Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
Oh, great! Now how do I abort the missile launch?
1 of 7: First, find the missile that's being launched.
2 of 7: Since it isn't in the missile launcher area you're in, it must be in the other one.
3 of 7: Make your way all the way back to the control room for the missile bay you're in, then go past the elevator and into the next control room. (Don't forget the pesky cameras over the doors that connect storage bays with control rooms.)
4 of 7: Enter the other missile storage bay and head left, but watch out for the new patrolling guard. Take him down with a nonlethal projectile quickly. (I was short of other projectiles by this time, so I used a gas grenade -- remember to fire it at the floor a short distance behind him as he's walking away from you.)
5 of 7: Drop down to the lower track past the missile, and you'll find the large door to the launching platform fully closed instead of half-open like the other one was.
6 of 7: There's a nearby control box where you can bypass a circuit (of course), but be sure to save or quicksave before you do this -- it hasn't been a timed sequence up until now, but it will be starting with the opening of that door.
7 of 7: Right after you run through the door, you'll find that you're too late -- the missile has launched!
