Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
How can I get to and tap a mobile command center?
1 of 13: After you get up onto the catwalk at the end of the Special Forces guys' street, you can go forward a short distance and then climb down a ladder.
2 of 13: But first look over to the right and ahead a ways to see a soldier walking around on a nearby balcony.
3 of 13: When he has his back turned, sneak down the ladder and across to the structure next to his balcony.
4 of 13: You can jump up and grab onto the structure, then pull yourself up and sneak across to the balcony.
5 of 13: When the soldier has his back turned, mantle on over the balcony's wall and then sneak up behind the soldier and grab him.
6 of 13: Interrogate him if you want to verify that the truck below is a mobile command center, then drop him where the balcony wall is the highest.
7 of 13: There's a pipe on the back wall of the balcony that you can climb up in order to find a wire you can shoosh along down to the truck.
8 of 13: However, don't go all the way to the end of the wire, since you'll fall and take damage, and the soldiers down there will almost certainly notice you. Instead, press the Crouch key when you're over the back part of the truck so that you'll drop silently and painlessly onto it. You can then carefully fall off the side of the truck (twisting around to grab onto the top of it with your fingers) and then drop to the ground.
9 of 13: Wait until the guy who works in the truck has just gone back in, then sneak up behind him and grab him. (If you go in to grab him awhile after he walks into the truck, he may turn around to leave just as you're approaching.)
10 of 13: Drag him quickly over to the dark corner near the propaganda loudspeaker and then knock him out and leave him there.
11 of 13: To be thorough and make sure no bodies are found, you should take out the other soldier in the area, too. I found this easy to do by hiding in the dark alley with the ladder until he walks by and stops, then sneaking up next to him and hitting him with an Alternate Fire whack. (If you have trouble with this, you could shoot out the truck's headlights first to make the area darker.)
12 of 13: Now go use the computer in the truck to upload the tap that Grim wants if you haven't already.
13 of 13: EXTRAS: There are some shotgun shells on a crate near the back of the truck. Also, there's a wall mine set up near the large flaming debris in the well-lit corner of the area (on the side of the large crate near the teddy bear).
