Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
I made it to the next building's roof. How do I get inside?
of 16: After you climb over the fence that your slide-across wire is attached to, sneak along the walkway until you can hear a wall mine beeping.
of 16: Look for it on the right wall and disarm it when the UAV that sweeps this area isn't directly overhead.
of 16: If the UAV is nearby, hide under the small catwalk across from the wall mine until it passes, then shoot out the nearby light.
of 16: Round the corner and walk carefully up to the edge of the walkway you're on.
of 16: Ready a nonlethal projectile and wait until a soldier walks up on the other side of the deep hole, then hit him with the projectile.
of 16: After he's down, look around for a way to get across the deep hole between you and him. (You can take a running jump across, but that's dangerous!)
of 16: Walk carefully up to the edge of the drop-off on the left side and look up to find a pipe that goes across.
of 16: Jump up to grab it, then move across it and drop down as soon as you're over the big gap.
of 16: Disable the UAV if it's near, then climb up on the wall to the right so that you're up near a large air conditioning unit and can see a ledge with a soldier and a radar setup a ways ahead of you.
of 16: Squeeze past the air conditioning unit, then take down the radar soldier without alerting the other one. The best way to do that is to use a sticky shocker on him while he's behind the computer.
of 16: Now to dispose of the last soldier in the area. He may be "stuck" in one particular spot, twitching constantly but not moving or turning around. If so, you may be able to sneak behind him and grab him.
of 16: Otherwise, use the OCP on the light on the wall down near the ground before dropping down, then sneak up on the soldier and whack him when he goes to investigate the light. If he's too alert for that to work, then use a nonlethal projectile on him.
of 16: Now you can relax (except for the UAV) and enter the building through the locked door.
of 16: But going that way misses some stuff, so find the ladder a ways to the right of the locked door and climb up it to reach the ledge with the radar equipment on it. (That ledge also has some ammo setting on its air conditioning unit.)
of 16: If the UAV is in the area, OCP it and run along the ledge to its other end, then mantle up onto another ledge there.
of 16: Now carefully drop down off the other end of that ledge so that you land next to a large open window. Go through it to be inside the building at last.
