Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
What's the best way to deal with this tank and its soldiers?
1 of 6: Look to the left near the tank to find a large scaffolding structure with ladders on its sides.
2 of 6: Climb up two ladders and look down at the tank and soldiers.
3 of 6: After one of the soldiers moves to a spot near the back of the tank, hit him with a nonlethal projectile and then do the same to the other soldier who's on the ground down there.
4 of 6: Then toss a frag grenade into the tank's open top hatch where the third soldier is standing. It should be a very easy shot from where you are.
5 of 6: Climb down to the ground and hide all the bodies behind the tank to make sure they're not found.
6 of 6: NOTE: I had a weird problem with blowing up the tank on Expert difficulty. The game counted me as injuring the soldier in the tank, which takes away 1% from the final mission rating. This happened most of the time, and a symptom of it was that the soldier in the tank shot at me after I threw the grenade. Also, he didn't collapse until after the tank was blown up. If this happens instead of the soldier being thrown out of the tank by the explosion, then restore your save and try again until he is thrown out. (Or hit him with a nonlethal projectile before you take down the other two soldiers -- that sometimes works out okay, even if he isn't thrown from the tank when it's blown up.)
