Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
How do I get through the public baths?
of 8: The first thing to do go back into the locker room and take down the guard in there if you haven't already -- he could give you some trouble from behind while you're dealing with the public bath guards.
of 8: Use the switch in the bathroom to turn out its lights, then shoot out the square light down the corridor near the entrance labeled "dry bath."
of 8: If a guard comes out to investigate the shot-out light, wait in hiding until he goes back in.
of 8: Then approach the doorway and carefully shoot out all three of the lights inside the room (including the flickery one just to the left of the doorway).
of 8: That should make it easy enough to sneak over to the second large bathtub without being seen.
of 8: Once there, find the trap door in the floor and use it to enter a small crawlway.
of 8: Make your way along until you reach a trap door that's in the middle of the steam room on the opposite side of the central partition as the guards.
of 8: Use the optic cable on the trap door to make sure the civilian isn't sitting nearby, then exit the tunnel and find the steam valve over on the right. Use it to steam up the room, which drastically lowers visibility for everyone without thermal goggles.
