Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
How can I get into the building?
of 9: Crawl out from the spot you start at and run down to the large well-lit door.
of 9: After using your thermal vision to make sure there's no one on the other side of the door, use the switch on the left to open it.
of 9: Switch to night vision as you go through the door and get your pistol ready -- there's an infrared camera a little further down that's sweeping the floor with its beam.
of 9: While the guards are near the other end of the area, carefully move forward and left until you can see and OCP the camera.
of 9: Then quickly find the switch panel on the wall (it's nearer where you entered than the camera is) and use it to turn out the tunnel's lights.
of 9: That'll get the guards' attention, but it'll be easy to sneak by them in the darkness.
of 9: You can either go for the locked door near the camera or head down to the other end of the tunnel and find the small squeeze-thru passage that's past an open grating.
of 9: If you opt for the door, move up next to it and break its lock when the guards aren't in sight. Go through it and close it behind you, then climb the ladder on the wall, go across a catwalk, and use the crawl space to get to a bathroom near the building's first floor lobby.
of 9: If you instead go for the tunnel's squeeze-thru passageway, you'll end up in a room where you can climb a pipe to get to a small side room on the third floor. From there, shimmy up onto a black wall segment that's next to a loose vent covering. There's a guard and janitor in the hallway you need to drop down into, and they're hard to take down unnoticed (though whistling to get them close together and then using a sticky camera to gas them can work).
