Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
What's the best way to do that?
1 of 7: When you first enter the escalator area, find the switch box on a nearby wall and use it to turn the lights and escalator off.
2 of 7: When a guard come up one side of the escalator to investigate, sneak up on him and hit him when he approaches the switch box (or gas him with a sticky camera while crouching a short ways down the opposite side of the escalator).
3 of 7: Leave his body next to the switch box, then turn on night vision and make your way down near the bottom of the escalator, where the other two guards are hanging about. (The reason you should have night vision on is so you can see where the ceiling camera's infrared beam is looking.)
4 of 7: When the guard who patrols back and forth comes near, whistle so that he hears you and comes over to investigate. If the other guard comes over with him, restore and wait a bit before trying again.
5 of 7: Hit the guard who responded to the whistle with a nonlethal projectile when he's at the base of the escalator and the camera's scanning beam isn't on him at all (OCP the camera to make this easier). Quickly grab his body and haul it up to the top of the escalator for safe dumping.
6 of 7: ALTERNATIVE: Shoot out the wall sign that's near the camera, then wait for the two guards to settle down. OCP the camera so you can slip by it, then head left and around the wall to a dark spot near the elevators. When it's safe, sneak down the passage to the left that leads to the bathroom.
7 of 7: Wait around a corner where you can watch the hallway with the elevators until a guard appears at the other end. Get his attention somehow so that he'll come toward you, then when he's fairly near, peek around the corner and fire a sticky camera at his feet and gas him. Then drag his body into the bathroom for disposal.
