Schizm Hints
I can't figure out how to apply the information to the navigation controls.
of 13: When you apply the gold disc to the blue control sphere, you will see that you can click on one of three symbols that match the three symbols on the steering handle in the cockpit.
of 13: Click on each of these three symbols on the blue sphere.
of 13: For each one, two other symbols will light up -- one from the top "arc" of symbols, and one from the bottom.
of 13: For each of the three symbols you can click on, note what the symbol looks like, plus the two other symbols that become highlighted (also note where the symbols are located on the blue sphere). When you're done, you should have three sets of symbols, and each set should have three symbols.
of 13: Return to the airship cockpit, and working with one set of symbols at a time, enter all three sets of symbols into the controls:
of 13: Select one group of symbols to work with first -- the group of symbols should include the symbol you clicked on, plus the two symbols that became highlighted as a result, one from the top arc and one from the bottom arc of the blue sphere.
of 13: The left steering wheel has three positions, and represents the three symbols you clicked on, on the blue control sphere. Set this part of the controls first. Move the left steering wheel and stop at the matching symbol from the group of three symbols which you are entering.
of 13: The symbols along the top arc of the control panel should be set to the matching symbol from the top arc on the blue control sphere.
of 13: The symbols on the right handle should be set to match the symbol from the bottom arc on the blue control sphere.
of 13: Once you've entered one complete set of coordinates, repeat the process for the second and third sets. The control panel will "remember" each setting that you have made.
of 13: When you have correctly entered all three sets of coordinates, press the blue button in the middle of the steering column.
of 13: If you have entered the coordinates correctly, you will be taken on a ride to a new location. If you have not entered correct coordinates, either nothing will happen (CD-ROM version), or you will be taken on a ride to nowhere (DVD version) -- usually the middle of the ocean.
of 13: Once you have entered correct coordinates, they will be "stored" in one of the buttons at the lower left of the navigation console. You can use these buttons later to quickly return to a location without entering all of the coordinates. Just press the button with the "stored" information, and then the "Launch" button in the middle of the console.
