Schizm Hints

I don't know where to begin.

  • 1 of 9: First of all, get familiar with the various controls.  Try each one and see what it does.
  • 2 of 9: Don't overlook the fact that you can raise the top measuring stick by dragging the mouse upward (not just clicking on it).
  • 3 of 9: Your goal is to measure the height and distance of several objects.
  • 4 of 9: The objects are five matching pillars that are placed around the device -- mostly out in the water.
  • 5 of 9: You will need to translate the symbolic readouts into something you can work with.
  • 6 of 9: The height measurement is simple: just count the number of units.  (Make sure to focus the center of the measuring stick at the *top* of each of the objects.)
  • 7 of 9: The distance control is more difficult, but you should be able to "match up" units and tens, to get the correct readings.
  • 8 of 9: You must reset the distance measurement to zero each time, before taking a reading.
  • 9 of 9: Do this by pressing the "0" button.  Then press the "+" button to get a measurement.
