How do I get inside the extra room?

  • 1 of 16: You won't be able to get inside the extra room, until you learn about it within the game.  To do that, you will first need to get inside the locked room behind the attic stairs, and look around.
  • 2 of 16: Also make sure that you've actually clicked on the extra room on the blueprints, as just learning about it in the hints is not enough -- you must go to the blueprints yourself, locate the extra room, and click on it for yourself.
  • 3 of 16: According to the blueprints, there used to be an entrance to the extra room from the hallway.
  • 4 of 16: If you paid close attention to the blueprints, you should notice that there was a second entrance to the extra room.
  • 5 of 16: The second entrance is through the window.
  • 6 of 16: You won't be able to walk out the door, on account of all the rain, but there is still a way to get to the window.
  • 7 of 16: Rather than thinking of a way to climb up from the ground, see if you can think of a way to climb down from higher up.
  • 8 of 16: Have you been in the tower yet?
  • 9 of 16: There are two windows you can open in the tower area. 
  • 10 of 16: It would be dangerous to climb out one of the windows...
  • 11 of 16: ...unless you had something to help you climb.
  • 12 of 16: You'll need to use a rope.
  • 13 of 16: Next, you'll need to find a good spot to secure the end of the rope.
  • 14 of 16: Once the rope is properly in position, you'll still need to find the end that you pushed out the crack in the wall.
  • 15 of 16: Michael seems a bit reluctant to climb out in the rain -- but if you insist, he will follow your instruction.
  • 16 of 16: It will take three clicks to make him step outside.  Then a couple more clicks until he makes his way down the rope into the hidden room.
