What else do I need to do before I can end this day?

  • 1 of 11: First of all, if you hear the phone ringing sometime during the day, you should answer it (it will be Jerry).
  • 2 of 11: If you've been inside the extra room, you should have obtained some information.
  • 3 of 11: A specific date, to be exact.
  • 4 of 11: You saw it when you found the papers behind the cabinet.
  • 5 of 11: You'll need to do some research on this particular date.
  • 6 of 11: Go back up to the attic, and look in the newspaper stack again.  When looking at the newspaper stack, select August 1961, to see a newspaper related to that date.
  • 7 of 11: Hmm, very interesting information.  Perhaps Michael would like to share this information.
  • 8 of 11: Call Jerry again and tell him what you've learned.  Note: You must be sure not to skip this step, or you won't be able to end the day.  However, you won't always be able to call Jerry right away -- occasionally the game won't allow this task to be completed until *after* the following task.
  • 9 of 11: For the final task, you must remember why Michael decided to buy this spooky old place to begin with.
  • 10 of 11: Go back up to the room Michael is staying in and work on the book.
