Scratches Hints
I am awakened by scratching noises. What do I do?
1 of 14: Hmm... This seems quite similar to the night before. Do you remember what you learned the previous night?
2 of 14: If you recall, the scratching noises seemed to be coming from the fireplace...
3 of 14: ...or, more specifically, from somewhere below the fireplaces.
4 of 14: The only place below the fireplaces would be perhaps somewhere in the basement.
5 of 14: It's pretty dark in the basement right now...
6 of 14: ...but that's okay, since you now have a light source.
7 of 14: Light the lamp to proceed downstairs.
8 of 14: There isn't much you can do in the basement. Be sure to look around thoroughly to look for clues.
9 of 14: You'll need to investigate the furnace carefully.
10 of 14: It's possible to open the door...
11 of 14: ...and climb inside.
12 of 14: Move forward, inside the furnace, four times.
13 of 14: Once you cannot move any further into the furnace, you should look straight ahead and watch carefully for a few seconds.
14 of 14: Scary, huh? At this point, the only thing remaining is to exit the furnace again and make your way back to bed.
