3 of 4: The desk under the window would provide the perfect spot. Click on the typewriter case in inventory, then click on the desk to set it down.
4 of 4: Click on the typewriter case to open it, click on the paper to pull it out of the case, then click on the typewriter to pull it out of the case and set it on the desk.
