How can I solve the puzzle with the letter buttons on the barrel?

  • 1 of 19: That pesky David will come in just as you're about to try to solve this one and tell you that he translated the name on the statue: Saint Austrebert of Rouen.
  • 2 of 19: Forget the Saint.
  • 3 of 19: Forget the of.
  • 4 of 19: Forget the Rouen.
  • 5 of 19: Austrebert is the key to solving this puzzle. But hey, with all those A's, E's, U's, etc., I'm sure you already figured that out, right? ;)
  • 6 of 19: The trick is to working out the order in which to push each letter.
  • 7 of 19: Did you take a look at the sketch Sister Elisé drew? It's in your inventory, and you can place it next to the puzzle if you want to.
  • 8 of 19: It shows the same shape of the letters, and paths drawn between them.
  • 9 of 19: You need to follow one of those paths through each of the ten letters that make up A-U-S-T-R-E-B-E-R-T.
  • 10 of 19: The first A you need to push is the one in the second column from the left.
  • 11 of 19: Then, push the U at the far left of the whole puzzle.
  • 12 of 19: Then push the S in the third column.
  • 13 of 19: Then, push the T at the top of the fourth column.
  • 14 of 19: The R you need is in the fifth column, in the middle.
  • 15 of 19: The E is in the right-most column.
  • 16 of 19: The B is in the sixth column, at the bottom.
  • 17 of 19: The E is the same one as before, in the right-most column.
  • 18 of 19: The R, is the same one as before, in the fifth column, in the middle.
  • 19 of 19: And, the final T is the one you used before, at the very top of the puzzle in the middle row.
