The Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis Hints
Now that I have all four stones, how do I put them in the mosaic?
of 12: This one's a little tricky.
of 12: You're going to need to chart the progress of the battle between the black and white armies on the board.
of 12: First of all, place all of your blue stones in the remaining gaps in the mosaic in any order you'd like.
of 12: Now, think of France as a square, and the areas as the squares on the board.
of 12: We know that the White King had retreated to Provence, so place him in the bottom-right corner, where Provence is in France.
of 12: Next, the Black King was in his castle in Brittany, so place the Black King at Bretagne in the top-left corner.
of 12: Now, we know the peasants were pushing to the north of the White King. Peasants are represented in chess by pawns.
of 12: So, place the Black Pawn above the White King.
of 12: Now, the re-enforcements came from Navarre, and where's that on the map?
of 12: It's at the bottom-left, near the border with Spain, so place the White Knight in the bottom-left.
of 12: He faced a tower to his east, so to the right of him, place the Black Castle.
of 12: If you've placed them all correctly, the puzzle will be solved.
