Sentinel: Descendants in Time Hints
How do I work this elevator?
of 16: The first thing to do would be to explore it a bit, looking for any active spots.
of 16: When facing the elevator console, there are four lever handles, and a vertical row of numbered buttons on the right.
of 16: Note that each of the handles, and all of the buttons are active.
of 16: Have you tried clicking on any of the handles, or any of the buttons?
of 16: If you click on any of the numbered buttons, the elevator will be activated.
of 16: (Unless, of course, you click on button '0' first -- since that's the level where you entered. In fact, any time you click the button for the level you are currently on, the only thing that will happen is that the button will "click", but the elevator will not move.)
of 16: And what happens if you click on any of the handles?
of 16: It appears that the handles have only two positions -- fully up, or fully down.
of 16: Be sure you have your sound turned up while working on this puzzle.
of 16: Do you hear anything when you move any of the handles?
of 16: You should hear some kind of mechanical sound in the distance each time you move a handle up or down.
of 16: But that's a part of another puzzle, so we'll leave it for now.
of 16: Working the elevator, then, consists of clicking a button to get to a specific level.
