Sentinel: Descendants in Time Hints
What is the purpose of this "ghost town"?
of 10: As in the other ages, the purpose is to find -- and retrieve -- the crystal associated with this age.
of 10: Argannas is laid out as a series of unfolding sections. That is, initially you can only get to one section of the town.
of 10: After solving one or more puzzles in the section to which you have access, another doorway will open up to another section of town, containing more puzzles.
of 10: Solving those puzzles will provide access to another portion of the town, and so on. Continue solving puzzles along the way, and eventually you will have the information you will need to find and retrieve the Argannas crystal.
of 10: The solutions to most of the puzzles in Argannas are random. So this hint file will focus on how to determine the solutions to the puzzles, rather than specifying any particular solution.
of 10: Also, most of the puzzles here are sound-related puzzles. Be sure to have your speakers turned up (or use headphones), as you will need to distinguish many different sound bytes. (Players with hearing limitations may find Argannas extremely difficut -- and may, in fact, not be able to finish these puzzles without assistance.)
of 10: Take a close look at the large building in the center of town, near where you first arrived. Look closely at the front door.
of 10: There are four puzzles around the door -- two on the left, and two on the right. Each is a group of shapes, with a red button at the top left of each panel.
of 10: Only one of these puzzles will be accessible at any one time. Solving one of these puzzles will make another one accessible.
of 10: The eventual goal in Argannas is to solve all four of these puzzles -- which will open the doorway to the interior of the building... and the Argannas crystal.
