Sentinel: Descendants in Time Hints

I give up -- which controls are associated with which water-control units?

• 1 of 5: Begin at the staircase that led you down to this level.  Walking around the outer walkway in a clockwise direction, number the 12 control machines from 1 to 12.  (Do not count the single machine with the handle that actually raises and lowers the water level.)
• 2 of 5: To refer to the two water-control units, let's call the one on the left "A", and the one on the right "B".
• 3 of 5: When you turn the large red wheel on the 1st control unit to the right, the red light on water-control unit "A" turns on.
• 4 of 5: When you turn the large red wheel on the 2nd control unit to the right, the red light on water-control unit "B" turns on.  (This is probably the easiest to see, since the 2nd control unit is directly in front of water-control unit "B".  You can click on the red wheel, and then immediately pan upwards, and you will see the red light on the right-hand water-control unit turn on.)
• 5 of 5: Using this same referencing (and making sure that all other control units are turned off before turning on the next one), continuing around the outer walkway results in the following:
