Sentinel: Descendants in Time Hints
Yes, but how do I solve an open puzzle, once I have found it?
of 13: Each puzzle operates the same way. The solution will be some number of buttons, pressed in the correct order.
of 13: The number of buttons will vary, but will never include all of the buttons.
of 13: For each of the golden puzzles, you will need to find clues (typically in the area of Argannas where that puzzle is located) that provide you information about how to "decode" that particular puzzle.
of 13: "Decoding" consists of two things: the first is to determine which of the buttons need to be pressed to open the door protected by this puzzle (and open the next puzzle).
of 13: The second is to find out which order to press the "target" buttons.
of 13: Some clues will help you decide which buttons will make up the "code".
of 13: Other clues will help you decide in which order to press the buttons.
of 13: In each area of Argannas, then, you will need to find all of the clues necessary to accomplish both of those goals.
of 13: Once you know the right buttons, and the right order, go to the appropriate golden puzzle, get into a close-up view (by clicking on the puzzle while the cursor shows a dot inside a circle), and then click on the right buttons in the right order.
of 13: If correct, you will always see a brief video of a doorway unlocking.
of 13: If nothing happens, you either do not know the right buttons, or did not press them in the correct order.
of 13: Continue seeking (or reviewing) the clues that you can find, to help you determine what you might have done wrong.
of 13: The hints, and the solutions, for each of the golden puzzles are listed separately.
