Sentinel: Descendants in Time Hints
What do I do with the apparatus at the top of each of the four sets of stairs?
of 15: Did you notice the apparatus at the top of each set of stairs? Each button, when pressed, makes a horn-like sound.
of 15: You need to play some horn-sounds on each apparatus. The trick is in knowing which horn-sounds, in which order. All the clues to figuring out the order are here, in Maru.
of 15: You will need to explore a little to gather clues from nearby areas. Be sure to use the elevators and explore the other levels as well.
of 15: You should have found six posts, each with a colored light on top.
of 15: Okay, now that you have a list of colors and matching sounds, look around some more for a hint as to how to decide which horns you should use (and their order) for the apparatus at the top of each set of stairs.
of 15: Look at the top of the post for each apparatus. Notice the direction each loud-speaker is pointing?
of 15: Did you notice the telescopes under the platforms near each apparatus?
of 15: Each of the four telescopes is can be pointed towards a floating structure in the distance. By studying each of the four structures through the telescopes, you should be able to put together the remaining clues.
of 15: Each structure has a light near the bottom of it, which flashes a pattern of different colors. Make note of each group of colors and their order. There will be a slightly larger pause between colors to mark when the set of colors begins.
of 15: You should now have gathered enough information to solve the puzzle. Once you have obtained a set of colors by looking through a telescope, go to the apparatus up the stairs closest to that telescope.
