Who killed Guy Clarendon?

  • 1 of 15: Frances Nolan didn't.  That much should be obvious. There wouldn't be much of a case if she did.
  • 2 of 15: Don't you remember hearing about how Frances frequently blacked out? She told you herself from Old Bailey.
  • 3 of 15: Think about someone who frequently dined with Frances.
  • 4 of 15: He probably had a special talent.
  • 5 of 15: I'm talking about Dr. Trevalyan.
  • 6 of 15: He worked for the Mesmer-Braid Institute for a while.
  • 7 of 15: What do you know about Mesmer?
  • 8 of 15: He was famous for hypnotizing people.  In fact, Trevalyan's file confirms that he was an expert with hypnotism.
  • 9 of 15: But think about Trevalyan.  Did he even know Clarendon?
  • 10 of 15: Probably not.  So he's not the murderer.
  • 11 of 15: He may have passed his skill on to someone else he knew very well.
