Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, Volume I Hints
Which leads should I pursue?
of 12: I'd start by talking to David Sennett, Armstead's butler.
of 12: Maybe you should go to the French Embassy to see Gerard, Armstead's friend.
of 12: Also drop by the Bridgehouse Hotel to see Pierre Matin, Armstead's source for the book.
of 12: It wouldn't hurt to talk to each of the survivors of the Tontine lottery.
of 12: If you're interested in what's written in the book, drop by Norgate and Company, the publishers.
of 12: The publisher will talk more about a Russian man, Rostov. I would check to see who this man is.
of 12: Russians probably need a visa to get into England. Someone has to issue those papers. Perhaps they can tell you who the Russian is.
of 12: The Russian Embassy will tell you that Rostov is at DeKeyser's Royal Hotel.
of 12: Well, it turns out that most of these leads won't do you any good. Time to read the paper to see what you can find.
of 12: As the last question said, the Princess Theatre is an important stop.
of 12: The manager of the theatre will send you to the Grand Hotel, where Arneau is staying. Search his room for some important clues.
of 12: You can investigate some more, but all the other characters can do is give you their alibis.
