1 of 7: You already know that Lyons was in on the crime.
2 of 7: And it's also clear that he's been expecting a lot of money to come in.
3 of 7: Who would have had reason to pay Lyons?
4 of 7: The person who was responsible for the jewelry heist.
5 of 7: Thomas O'Neill.
6 of 7: He probably wanted to keep all of the money from the jewels himself.
7 of 7: So he killed Lyons to keep from paying him his share (D).
