Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, Volume III Hints

What can I learn from the newspaper?

  • 1 of 9: You might want to read up a bit about Mason's murder.
  • 2 of 9: See the April 11, 1890 issue, page 2, column 2.
  • 3 of 9: You can also use the paper to find out about the woman who bought a few statues.
  • 4 of 9: Eventually, you'll learn that Errol Hawk was buying statues too.  He was probably working with that woman.
  • 5 of 9: Don't forget that she's a singer.
  • 6 of 9: See the personal note at the top of page 1, column 1 of the 4/11/90 issue.
  • 7 of 9: And find Violette Blue's name on page 1, column 3 of the same issue.
  • 8 of 9: You'll also need to know how Hawk got Mason and Brown's names from Evenson and Company.
  • 9 of 9: There was a break-in a few nights ago.  See page 1, column 3 of the April 11, 1890 issue to find this out.
