How can I track down Piers Alenn?

  • 1 of 12: After you've tested your disguise, head to the Golden Lion Inn.
  • 2 of 12: Speak to everybody there.
  • 3 of 12: The young woman Watson spoke to earlier is here, and she will tell you where she thinks Piers is lodging.
  • 4 of 12: Head there now, leave the pub and turn right, then find the door with flowers either side of it.
  • 5 of 12: Examine the footprints by each door until you find Lupin's size-nine prints -- you should recognize them by now!
  • 6 of 12: They are at the far left door -- open it and speak with the man inside, Rumpkin.
  • 7 of 12: You will need to find a way to remove him from the room without alerting the police.
  • 8 of 12: Once in the room, you can find three items of value.
  • 9 of 12: One is a note by the door.
  • 10 of 12: Another are the sacks of loot from the Grimbles' house, by the window.
  • 11 of 12: And, most curiously, some painted sticks on the floor by the fireplace.
  • 12 of 12: Examine all three, and return to Baker Street.
