2 of 10: He was a Frenchman, so check the relevant gallery.
3 of 10: You will see two identical paintings by Vernet next to each other in the French gallery.
4 of 10: Examine them both, and spot a difference between the two.
5 of 10: You will note, upon close inspection, a difference in the upper balcony.
6 of 10: Lupin himself is visible in the left painting, burning a painting.
7 of 10: As Holmes says, he is setting an example.
8 of 10: So, follow that example.
