How can I figure out who Farley's visitor was?
1 of 10: After opening the secret door in Farley's office, go up to it and look on the floor.
2 of 10: Take the hat that's on the floor, then bring up the travel map and return to 221B Baker Street.
3 of 10: After the cut-scene, select the hat from inventory and click on the analysis table's hand icon to place the hat on it.
4 of 10: Click on the hat to get a close-up of it, then scan it for hotspots.
5 of 10: After you examine all the ones you can find right off, click and hold to rotate the hat around and find more.
6 of 10: Use Holmes' "sixth sense" if necessary to help you find enough hotspots to get Holmes to realize that the hat belongs to a judge.
7 of 10: He mentions a memoir he has on the most influential judges, so go get that.
8 of 10: It's on the shelves that are to the right of the fireplace and a door. Click to pick the book up, then select it in inventory and go click on the analysis table's hand icon.
