The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Hints
How does the wall plaque puzzle work?
of 10: After you gather all five clues and all three oarlocks, bring up the wall plaque's puzzle screen and place the oarlocks.
of 10: To do that, pick one up and click it on any of the three holes that are above the little oars.
of 10: Do that for all three oarlocks, then click on the piece of paper with the two vertical lines on it to bring up a display that includes it and all five clue items that you gathered.
of 10: You can click on each of the three blank spaces on the paper and choose which Greek letter to put in it.
of 10: The five clue items are used to figure out which Greek letter goes in each space.
of 10: Once you get all three letters correct, you'll be able to click on the oars to rotate them.
of 10: Each oar's hotspot is the small circle where it's attached to the plaque. The left and right oars' hotspots are at their top, and the middle oar's hotspot is in its middle. Or at least, that's how they start out.
of 10: The middle oar can be rotated to where its top circle is over one of the two side holes. It can then be rotated using its top circle.
of 10: You'll need to rotate the oars to recreate all three of the Greek letters that are on the piece of paper in left-to-right order.
of 10: Once you get the third letter done, the puzzle will be solved.
