How can I make the hidden inscription readable?
1 of 12: Look around for something that can remove stains.
2 of 12: On the table to the right of the microscope is a small bottle of reagent that Holmes uses to clean samples for analysis.
3 of 12: Pick it up, then use the microscope to get the close-up of the stain again.
4 of 12: You can now pick up the reagent bottle and click it on the stain.
5 of 12: Watson will note that the reagent is too strong as it is. You'll need to dilute it somehow.
6 of 12: Look to the right of the cabinet with the crystal glasses in it to find a basin of dirty water on a stool.
7 of 12: Select the reagent bottle in inventory, then click on the water basin to dilute the reagent.
8 of 12: Use the microscope again and pick up the reagent bottle, then click it all over the stain. (Note that there are five different spots you need to click it on.)
9 of 12: After Watson says that he'll have to clean it all up now, look around for something to do that with.
10 of 12: Another piece of paper would probably be best.
11 of 12: The nearby dresser has a sheet of blotting paper on it that you can take.
12 of 12: Get the microscope view again, then pick up the blotting paper and click it around until you reveal three numbers.
