How can I figure out which order to press them in?
1 of 7: There are only six possible combinations. You could just keep trying until you guess the right one.
2 of 7: Or you could look the chest over for a clue.
3 of 7: Look on the metal band that's to the left of the number buttons to see that something has been scratched onto it.
4 of 7: It says "< 3 <". What could that mean?
5 of 7: Apparently, 3 is the second number used in the combination.
6 of 7: Also, the first number is less than 3, and 3 is less than the third number.
7 of 7: Since you already know that the numbers are 2, 3, and 6, the combo must be 2-3-6.
