The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Hints

How can I get past the guard who's patrolling nearby?

  • 1 of 9: Exit the target range tent to get Holmes to notice the guard, then carefully stay to where he can't see you.
  • 2 of 9: The only place you can safely go is directly across the path to a narrow alley.
  • 3 of 9: Go down the alley until you can go up some stairs and open a door, then enter the old menagerie building and look around.
  • 4 of 9: Check out the locked medicine cabinet that's on the wall to the left.
  • 5 of 9: Take the bottle of ether from the medicine cabinet. It should be good for taking out the patrolling guard.
  • 6 of 9: You'll need to lure the guard to a place where you can apply the ether without getting into a noisy fight.
  • 7 of 9: As soon as the cut-scene is over, open the door of the cage that Holmes is hiding in, then go down to the cage that the guard is in.
  • 8 of 9: Click on either hand icon to close and bar the door, then apply the ether.
  • 9 of 9: Select the ether bottle in inventory, then click on the door window's hand icon to get the guard to go to sleep for a long time.
