The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Hints
How can I fill out this deduction board?
of 11: In a similar way to how you filled out the Knightsbridge deduction board earlier. In this case, all of the left-side entries are already on the page, and all you need to do is set the "?" items to the correct answers. As before, they'll all turn green once all of them are set correctly.
of 11: The top "?" item has to do with the rope only being worn on one side. Why might that be?
of 11: The obvious answer is that the rope was always used from the same side.
of 11: The next "?" item down is about the damp earth that the murderers brought in with them.
of 11: As Holmes and Watson already discussed, the dirt came from a pit.
of 11: Setting those two items will bring up another one. On it, you need to say that the rope was used to lower something into a pit.
of 11: On the "?" item that's connected to the painted granite fragment entry, the most reasonable assumption is that the fragment comes from a monument painted black.
of 11: A new "?" item will come up connecting that conclusion to the one about the soil being from a pit. Naturally, you need to choose the option about the earth and stone being from a pit near a monument.
of 11: For the next "?" item, think about what kind of place has monuments and things being lowered into pits with rope.
of 11: The most reasonable conclusion is a graveyard, so choose the option that says the earth, rope, and fragment of granite come from a grave.
of 11: For the final "?" item, you can conclude that the Whitechapel clinic is near a grave.
