The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Hints

How can I get into the big haunted house building?

  • 1 of 8: Go down the steps to the carousel area, then move past it to find the haunted house's large front doors.
  • 2 of 8: Examine them to get Holmes to whisper something about hearing noises. It seems you're going to have to sneak in through another entrance.
  • 3 of 8: Go down the path to the left of the haunted house until you reach some stairs that are blocked by a wrecked wagon, then turn to the right and look up.
  • 4 of 8: Examine the window that's up there to see that it's protected by bars. It's also really high up.
  • 5 of 8: To start with, you're going to need to get a ladder that you can use to reach that window.
  • 6 of 8: Select your large ladder in inventory, then return to the left side of the haunted house and examine the window again.
  • 7 of 8: That'll place the ladder, and you can click on its hand icon to climb it.
  • 8 of 8: Doing so will get you a close-up of the barred window.
