Where can I find some oil?
1 of 6: Climb back up your cloth rope and look around the fancy bedroom.
2 of 6: Examine the glass case with the hunting rifle in it.
3 of 6: Notice that there's also a box in there. It probably includes all the items needed for the care and maintenance of the rifle, which would include oil.
4 of 6: In order to open the rifle's case, you'll need a pin that you can use as a lockpick.
5 of 6: Select the pin (called "metal core" in inventory), then click on the rifle case's hand icon to bring up another lockpicking puzzle. It works just like the previous two, but is a bit more complicated due to having five movable segments instead of three or four.
