How can I solve the bomb-defusing puzzle?
1 of 7: You have sixteen different light pairs to reproduce on the inner light ring, but only sixteen individual lights on that ring to do it with.
2 of 7: That means you're going to have to use a lot of overlap.
3 of 7: For instance, to light up the yellow-yellow and yellow-red light pairs in the "NW" bomb's display, you don't need to use four lights on the inner ring.
4 of 7: Set two consecutive lights to yellow, then set the light that's one space clockwise from them to red.
5 of 7: Furthermore, if you then set the space that's on the other side of the two yellow lights to green, you can light up the green-yellow light pair that's in the "SW" bomb's display. That way, you'll end up using only four lights on the inner ring to light up three pairs of bomb lights.
6 of 7: You can then set the light that's next to the red light to something that'll light up a pair in the "NE" bomb, and so on.
7 of 7: Keep using overlaps as you go until you manage to fit everything together.
