How can I figure out the first dial's number?
1 of 7: Notice that a single row of numbers is given: 1, 2, 3, 5.
2 of 7: This is clearly a "calculate the next number in the series" thing.
3 of 7: However, you can't add the same number to get the next number each time, nor can you multiply.
4 of 7: Notice that the third number is the sum of the first two numbers.
5 of 7: Also, the fourth number is the sum of the second and third numbers.
6 of 7: So each number in the series (except for the first two) must equal the sum of the two previous numbers.
7 of 7: That means the next number in the series would be 3 + 5 = 8. Set the first dial to 8.
