The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Hints
I found another locked-from-the-inside door. How can I open this one?
of 11: Look a ways to the right of it to see a cart with a bunch of crates and sacks piled all around it.
of 11: Go down to the lowest end of the pile, then walk up it like a ramp.
of 11: Get onto the ledge, then go toward the open window until Holmes says to find another way in.
of 11: Go back down the "ramp" to the ground, then turn right and go over to the wall.
of 11: Turn right from facing it to find a little side area with some paw-able sacks in it.
of 11: Pawing those sacks will move them away from an opening, allowing you to walk over them to enter the factory. (Note that you may need to move back and forth a bit to get the game to let you in.)
of 11: Once you're inside, look around to see that there's no way to actually open the locked door. You'll need to find another way to let Holmes in.
of 11: He's up at the open window you saw on the ledge earlier. See if you can find a way for him to lower himself down to the floor.
of 11: Look to the left of his window to see a pulley on a rope hanging up near a light.
of 11: Visually follow the rope down to where it reaches the floor next to a big metal vat.
of 11: Go over and paw at the rope to get the pulley moved to where Holmes can use it to lower himself down.
