Silent Hill 3 Hints
Maul
1 of 2: The maul is very, very slow, so careful timing is everything. Only use the maul if you have plenty of room between you and your target. Practice with it to get a feel for how long it takes to attack with the maul. Keep in mind, too, that the maul is very long, so you don't need to get too close to an enemy to attack it. The key to attacking with long melee weapons like the maul is carefully timing your attacks based on the weapon's attack speed and length. Practice makes perfect!
2 of 2: And don't ever forget Heather's abilities to block and sidestep. With melee weapons, you may need to use these abilities a lot.
