What are melee weapons?
Melee weapons are short ranged weapons that don't require ammunition to use. Once you have a melee weapon in your inventory, you can use it as often as you want without needing another item to continue using it. The disadvantage of melee weapons is that you have to get close to your enemy to attack it, meaning that you can usually be easily counterattacked by your enemy. If you don't want to use ammo or are out of ammo, though, melee weapons are a whole lot better than nothing.
