Silent Hill 3 Hints
Handgun
1 of 2: The greatest advantage of the handgun is that Heather can move -- forward, backwards, or sidestepping -- while aiming and firing it. Since the handgun isn't quite powerful enough to kill some of the more powerful enemies before they can reach you, you may have to take advantage of this mobility by backing away from or circling your enemy while firing at it. Fortunately, Heather's a pretty good shot, so there's little need to worry about missing your target.
2 of 2: If you have nothing but the handgun, it may be best to run from powerful enemies. Sometimes it's just not worth the ammo.
