Flamethrower
The flamethrower has the ability to stop pretty much any enemy in its tracks, so once you unleash a wave of fire, there's little need to worry about an attack from in front of you. The problem is, Heather can't move while firing, she can only aim by moving her torso. If there are a lot of enemies in front of you, swing the flamethrower back and forth to keep them at bay -- they'll eventually die. If you're surrounded, stop firing and try to get into a position in which all your enemies are in front of you, then let 'er rip.
