What are ranged weapons?
Ranged weapons are weapons that allow you to attack from a long distance away from your enemy. In Silent Hill 3, most weapons are guns. To use a ranged weapon, press the Ready Button to aim at an enemy, then press the Action Button to fire. Note that most ranged weapons require ammunition, so you'll have to reload. You can either do this in game (if you press the Action Button while aiming with an empty gun, Heather will reload it on her own, which takes time), or you can go into your inventory and reload your weapon with the appropriate ammo.
