1 of 7: The object of this puzzle is to rearrange the tiles so that the Chinese letter is formed in the center.
2 of 7: Move the gears by clicking on them and see what happens.
3 of 7: Notice that if you back away from the puzzle and return, it will reset with a new starting configuration.
4 of 7: Label the gears 1 to 4 from left to right across the top; label the gears A to D from top to bottom.
5 of 7: Find the Chinese letter configuration where the left two parts of the letter are in the lower left corner, the lower right part is at the right end of row B, and the top right part is at the top of column 1.
6 of 7: Move D left, 3 down, B left, 4 down, C left, 3 down, D left. 3/4 of the letter should be completed.
7 of 7: Move A left, 1 down, A right, 2 down, B right, 2 up, B left and 2 down.
