What is the combination for the big safe?

  • 1 of 11: Have you opened the small safe?
  • 2 of 11: You must open the small safe before you can even attempt the big safe.
  • 3 of 11: The big safe's door code changes each time you enter the bank.
  • 4 of 11: So if you are having trouble with one of the codes, exit the bank and come back in again.
  • 5 of 11: The ledger in the small safe needs a decoder grid.
  • 6 of 11: Lay the grid on the page number of the ledger you noted from the big safe's door code.
  • 7 of 11: Rotate the grid N, E, S, or W by clicking on the zebra picture.
  • 8 of 11: Position the notch on the grid in the direction required in the big safe's code.
  • 9 of 11: For example, 4W means rotate the grid on page 4 until the notch is facing west.
  • 10 of 11: Read the combination from left to right and top to bottom.
  • 11 of 11: For instance, if you get the numbers R3, 2L, R8, you turn right to 3, left to 2 and then right to 8.
